YMCA holding events for International Youth Day on August 13

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Cor Van Raay YMCA is hosting a celebration for International Youth Day.

On August 13, 2021, from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm, there will be Outdoor and indoor sports/games, local food trucks, trivia, prizes, and a live DJ in the aquatic centre.

The live DJ in the Aquatic Centre will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and the YMCA will look to celebrate youth within the community with activities.

The YMCA says this will promote International Youth Day by providing a safe space, engaging activities, and a social environment for youth to feel seen, heard, and acknowledged within our community.

Activities will be provided for all ages, with a focus on youth ages 11 and up.
