AB Government looking for new Child and Youth Advocate

LETHBRIDGE, AB – If you think you have what it takes to represent youth across Alberta, the provincial government wants to hear from you.
They are looking for a new Child and Youth Advocate, who will help underaged Albertans receiving government services and investigate serious injuries or deaths of children.
This person will also be expected to advance the rights, interests, and viewpoints of young people who are receiving a designated service, to prepare the office’s budget, and provide legal representation, among other services.
The deadline to apply is October 8, 2021.
