LETHBRIDGE, AB – UPDATE: This article has been updated to include new information from Lethbridge College (see below).

The U of L says the cancellations apply to both the Lethbridge and Calgary campuses, and online classes will continue as scheduled.

U-Lethbridge employees responsible for maintaining necessary options of the institution will be required to be on campus and researchers can attend campus to maintain any research activities, but will be required to be physically distanced from one another.

The U of L said that while its campuses are closed for in-person classes, employees who are able to work remotely are expected to do so.

The university will be fully re-opened and in-person classes will return on Monday, September 20 as the post-secondary school will meet the requirements of the province’s Restrictions Exemption Program due to the previous implementation of its vaccination and rapid testing requirements.

Further details from the U of L are available here.
