Lethbridge man charged in connection with commercial robbery

LETHBRIDGE, AB. — A 38-year-old city man has been charged in connection with the robbery at Westcan Cannabis on Wednesday, Sept. 29.

Just before 8:30 p.m., an employee at the business in the 1700-block of 23 Street North, notified police of a robbery by a lone male, who fled on foot.

A K9 track led police to a home in the 1300-block of 23 Street North, where a suspect was arrested..

Hank Lee Tremblay has been charged with robbery, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public. He made an initial court appearance on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021.
