LETHBRIDGE, AB – A Lethbridge woman accused of defrauding her former employer out of more than half-a-million dollars will stand trial next year.

Donna Court, 58, is charged with fraud over $5,000, theft over $5,000, and possession of stolen property over $5,000.

She was charged in 2021 following an investigation by the Lethbridge Police Service dating back to 2018 when Court was an employee at the University of Lethbridge.

It is alleged that $580,000 was stolen from the university.

Following a recent appearance in Lethbridge Court of Queen’s Bench, dates for a three-week trial were set.
