Albertans can offer condolences to the Royal Family at Provincial buildings

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Albertans who want to offer the Royal Family condolences after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II can do so at Provincial buildings around Alberta.

Residents in Lethbridge can visit the Lethbridge Provincial Building located at, 200, 5 Avenue South on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to deliver handwritten notes.

Similar drop-off sites are available at the provincial buildings in Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Grande Prairie, and Fort McMurray, as well as the Alberta legislature and government in Edmonton and the McDougall Centre in Calgary.

In a news release from the Government of Alberta, it asks that individuals do not bring flowers to leave at public buildings, they will be removed to ensure safe access to the building.

For any Albertans who live in areas where there are no provincial buildings Albertans can share messages online on the Government of Alberta website.
