Calgary children’s hospice discharging patients

CALGARY, AB – A pediatric hospice in Calgary is discharging all of its child patients and pausing admissions due to a surge in children with the flu, R-S-V and COVID-19.

Rotary Flames House provides end-of-life care for children and support for their families.

Alberta Health Services reports Children’s Hospital in Calgary and Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton have been at or above capacity since last week.
