LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are plenty of events in the Lethbridge area on the hot weekend.

South Country Fair – July 21-23, 2023

The Fort Macleod festival returns for 2023 with another three days of music and activities. Performances include local musicians, puppetry, dances and circus acts, among others. The event takes place at the Fort MacLeod Fish & Game Centennial Park. Tickets and more information can be found here.

Superhero Autism Walk 2023 – July 22, 2023

The Chinook Autism Society is hosting its annual Superhero Autism Walk at Henderson Lake Park on Saturday, July 22 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Those walking can dress up as their favourite superhero, and join for a barbecue after the walk.

Southern Alberta (Coaldale) Motorcycle Ride For Dad – July 22, 2023

This event is a Poker Run/Car Show beginning at KC’s Pub in Coaldale to raise money for prostate cancer research and awareness. The Ride for Dad event has been raising money since 2000, with a total of over $39 million dollars collected for the Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation over the years.

Black Rock Terrace Classic Car Show – July 22, 2023

Green Acres Foundation is putting on the Black Rock Terrace Classic Car Show on Saturday, July 22 at Black Rock Terrace. The car show will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and feature a $6 barbecue for attendees.

Beyond Van Gogh – July 14, 2023 – August 6, 2023

Beyond Van Gogh continues its’ run at the ENMAX Centre. Guests are given a look at famous work by Van Gogh while learning about his life. The exhibit is on until August 6, 2023. Tickets can be purchased here.

Nanton RCMP open house – July 22, 2023

Nanton RCMP is hosting an open house at the detachment on Saturday, July 22. Police are looking to connect with the community more by offering a view at the equipment at the detachment, and given the public a chance to speak with officers. Members of the Nanton Fire Department, specialized RCMP units, Citizens on Patrol and more will be at the event, which runs from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m.
