Taber Police Service investigating two-vehicle highway collision

TABER, AB – The Taber Police Service (TPS) is investigating a highway collision on Thursday morning.

On August 17, 2023 at approximately 8:15 a.m., TPS and Taber Emergency Services responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 36 North.

Police say a northbound pickup truck entered the intersection and struck a westbound car. The collision caused the pickup truck to hit a traffic light.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage, and the driver of the car was transported to Taber hospital with undetermined injuries.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and charges are pending. Police are requesting anyone with dash cam footage, or who witnessed the collision contact Taber Police Service at 403-223-8991.
