Whoop-Up Days Parade – August 22, 2023

The 2023 Whoop-Up Days festival officially kicks off on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. The parade begins at Park Place Mall, and this year’s theme is “Celebrating Canada’s Agriculture Destination”. Country singer Corb Lund is this year’s parade marshal.

Mayor’s Community Barbecue – August 22, 2023

Mayor Blaine Hyggen will host his community barbecue for Whoop-Up Days on Tuesday morning. The barbecue will run from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. outside City Hall following the Whoop-Up Days Parade.

Whoop-Up Days – August 22-26, 2023

The Whoop-Up Days festival is in Lethbridge from Tuesday until Saturday at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition. The event will have five days of rides, food, rodeo, live entertainment and more. Admission into Whoop-Up Days is free. A full list of events over the week can be found on the Lethbridge and District Exhibition website.

Garden pARTy – August 23, 2023

The Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge and the Southern Alberta Art Gallery are holding its final ‘Garden pARTy’ of the year on Wednesday. The event will have live music, performance art, and art activities from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Galt Gardens. The Little Lethbridge Opera Theatre will perform at the event.

Lethbridge Farmers’ Market at Festival Square – Every Wednesday

The Wednesday Downtown Farmers’ Market, put on by the Lethbridge & District Exhibition and Downtown Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ), is running every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. until September 6, 2023. Admission is free, but parking rates may apply.
