Home, Garden and Leisure Show set to hit Lethbridge in March 2024

Aug 25, 2023 | 1:20 PM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Preparations are underway for the all-new 2024 Home, Garden and Leisure Show.

The event, which returns after a year hiatus, is set to be hosted by Building Industry & Land Development Association (BILD) – Lethbridge Region from March 14 to 16, 2024.

Officials said on Friday, August 25, 2023 that the show has been re-envisioned and a new leisure section has been added so southern Albertans can get ready for the spring and summer seasons next year.

The event will be held at the new Agri-foo Hub and Trade Centre in Lethbridge. The Home, Garden and Leisure Show is being co-produced by Meibel Consulting, the owners and producers of the Alberta Food and Beverage Expo and Game Con Canada. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with experts in home improvement, renovations and gardening.

In a news release, Executive Officer Bridget Mearns said, “Lethbridge homeowners invested $336 million in home renovation and repair in 2022.”

She stated, “Finding quality suppliers and service providers is key to realizing that investment. The Home & Garden show has been where Southern Albertans have come to find these businesses under one roof for decades, and they will again in 2024.”

Programming will include celebrity presenters, educational seminars, the return of the ‘Who BILDs it Best’ live building competition, as well as the new leisure section to the event.

Mearns added that BILD – Lethbridge Region knows southern Albertans live an active lifestyle, so “it makes sense to add a leisure section and provide a one stop shop for spring and summer.”

The 2024 Home, Garden and Leisure Show will also feature a lottery, with more details to be provided at a later date. Those interested in signing up as a sponsor or exhibitor can contact brittany@meibelconsulting.com. More information is also available at the event website.
