Nikki Stahl and Owen Stewart named Kodiaks athletes of the month for October

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge College Kodiaks have named their student-athletes of the month of October.
On the women’s side, fifth-year midfielder Nikki Stahl was named player of the month. As captain of the Kodiaks women’s soccer team, she led the team to their ever best regular season record, with a record of 11-1.
Stahl was honoured by the conference’s coaches by being named to the All-Conference team. She earned the title of ACAC Player of the Game in the championship’s semi final match, and was also selected for the All-Tournament team.
For the men’s teams, second year cross-country runner Owen Stewart has been named player of the month for the second consecutive month. During the ACAC cross-country championships, he secured seventh place with a personal best time of 27:16 minutes, which was crucial for his team to secure the bronze medal and qualify for the CCAA national championships.
