Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden, University of Lethbridge partner for new media project

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The University of Lethbridge and Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden are collaborating on a new media project.

The U of L New Media program partnered up with Nikka Yuko to bring 12 unique digital experiences to showcase to the public. These 12 displays were all created by students in the program, and are being projected at the Kamakura Projection Dome.

Eric Granson, Marketing & Events Manager for Nikka Yuko said, “As soon as we hear a collaboration with students and their creativity, especially the New Media program, it was a no brainer for us, especially bringing this amazing content and showcasing it to the rest of the community, its just wonderful.”

The new content will be integrated into daily programming, experiences, and future events held at Nikka Yuko.

The project will launch on March 1, 2024, and will be available for viewing on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
