LETHBRIDGE, AB – You might get a postcard in your mailbox this week.

The City of Lethbridge has partnered with Dalhousie University to participate in the Canada Travel Activity (CanTRAC) Survey.

Throughout the week, over 8,000 random households in Lethbridge will receive a postcard in the mail. It will invite them to take part in an online survey. Information gathered from the questionnaire will help identify travel patterns and inform future transportation needs in the city.

Each completed survey will be entered to win a VISA gift card.

Officials said the feedback will help transportation planners better understand travel habits and mobility patterns. This information will assist in determining future investments in transportation infrastructure and services.

The survey is funded through a federal grant and was free for the City of Lethbridge to take part in. Lethbridge is one of four Canadian cities participating, with the others being Calgary, Moncton and Charlottetown.
