Premier Smith making school funding announcement in Brooks today

Premier Danielle Smith will reveal funding on Friday for the Brooks Junior High School replacement project.
The Alberta budget tabled earli this year promised $2.1 billion in capital funding over three years to build, expand or modernize 43 schools across the province.
Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides said the 2024 budget will support the construction of 28 new schools, 10 replacement schools and five modernization projects.
