LETHBRIDGE, AB – Volunteers are being cheered on for their community work this week.

April 14 to 20, 2024 marks National Volunteer Week across Canada, celebrating the country’s 24 million volunteers. The theme for this year’s initiative is Every Moment Matters.

The theme highlights the importance of every volunteer and each contribution they make to their community. In southern Alberta, Volunteer Lethbridge connects helpers with different opportunities. The group also assists non-profits in running their organizations by filling operations gaps and offering training and networking.
