Southern Alberta Bikers to host first-ever ‘Blessing of the Bikes’

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Bike riders are invited to visit Lethbridge Saturday morning for a new initiative.

The Southern Alberta Bikers host the inaugural Blessing of the Bikes on April 27, 2024. It is a new tradition that welcomes all motorcycle enthusiasts to the start of the riding season.

The non-denominational ceremony will take place starting at 11 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church of Lethbridge. Riders and their motorcycles will receive a blessing for safety and wellbeing as they prepare to hit the road. After the blessing, participants can join in on a communal ride.

“We are extremely excited to bring the Blessing of the Bikes to Southern Alberta. This event is more than just a gathering; it’s a way for us to come together as a community, to share our passion, and to start the season on a positive note,” says event organizer Trent Regier.
