Special concert series returning to Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – This summer, you will be able to enjoy free outdoor music performances courtesy of the Allied Arts Council (AAC).

The AAC has announced the return of the ‘Upside Downtown Concert Series’.

Free music shows will take place on Rotary Square in front of CASA from 5 to 7 p.m. every Thursday in July and August. The AAC notes each evening will include a licensed area for anyone wishing to enjoy a beverage while taking in the music. Additionally, a food truck will be on site during the performances.

“Lethbridge has a thriving music scene, and the Upside Downtown Concert Series is a fantastic way to highlight the incredible talent we have right here in our city,” says Jana Mackenzie, Executive Director of the AAC.

“We’re excited to welcome everyone back to Rotary Square for what promises to be another unforgettable summer of music.”

The concert lineup is as follows:

  • July 4th, 2024: MomBod / Fawns
  • July 11th, 2024: Hurtin’
  • July 18th, 2024: The Doghouse Orchestra
  • July 25th, 2024: ADEQUATE!
  • August 1st, 2024: Badlands
  • August 8th, 2024: Atomicos
  • August 15th, 2024: Starpainter
  • August 22nd, 2024: Clover Overboard / Karen Romanchuk Band
  • August 29th, 2024: Hippodrome
