Lethbridge prisoner located, returned to custody

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is thanking the public for locating a man who had escaped from prison.
Police were informed by the Lethbridge Correctional Centre on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 that Sean Horvath, 46, had fled a minimum security work area in the city.
The LPS sent out a news release at 11:21 p.m. on Wednesday, advising that Horvath has been located and arrested.
He is serving a custodial sentence for property crimes and driving offences.
