Girl set on fire in Saskatoon school faces long recovery, says grandmother
SASKATOON, Sask. — The grandmother of a 15-year-old student who was set on fire at a Saskatoon high school says she has a long recovery ahead.
She says the teen is in an Edmonton hospital but declined to provide details about her condition.
She says the family is asking people to send prayers and wear purple Tuesday when classes resume at Evan Hardy Collegiate, as purple is her granddaughter’s favourite colour.
Police have said the girl was in serious condition with burns after Thursday’s attack.
