Lethbridge Police investigating threat at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police are investigating a report of a threat at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute.
LCI staff contacted police after finding a threat written on school property. Police say the writing threatened that harm to students and staff would happen on December 19.
An investigation was launched, and it is ongoing to determine the veracity of the threat and who is responsible. Police say there is no evidence to suggest an imminent risk.
Classes will proceed as usual this week and LPS officers will be in attendance at the school.
