Picture Butte Ambulatory Clinic to temporarily close Saturday

The Piyami Health Centre ambulatory clinic in Picture Butte will be temporarily closed on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

The closure will affect the whole weekend hour slate of 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and it will re-open for the same time on Sunday, January 5.

Alberta Health Services says the closure is due to a lack of physician coverage.

The non-urgent walk-in clinic will remain open on Saturday for people who need to see a doctor but don’t need to be seen in the emergency department.

Those seeking care can utilize the Coaldale Health Centre ambulatory clinic on weekends from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Patients seeking emergency care can also access the emergency department at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge.
