Four people facing drug charges from Lethbridge Police following search warrant

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police have charged four people following a short-term investigation into drug activity at a south side home.

Members of the Downtown Policing Unit received multiple tips about drug trafficking activity at a townhome along the 600 block of 8 Street South back in April, and following further investigation, they obtained a search warrant and executed it on May 7.

Once inside, police located five occupants and seized 34 doses of carfentanil, 14 pre-packed doses of methamphetamine and a small quantity of oxycodone after a search.

Police also recovered a firearm, pepper spray, machetes, a baton, more than $1,400 in cash and stolen credit cards.

35-year-old Michael Jason Red Crow, of Lethbridge, is charged with four counts of possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of the proceeds of crime, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance in court today.

Daelyn Rael First Rider, from Standoff, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of breach of probation. First Rider was remanded in custody and made her first appearance in court today.

37-year-old Crystal Yellow Wings, of Lethbridge, is facing one count of possessing an identity document. Yellow Wings was released on a recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on June 27.

Finally, 23-year-old Katrina Molly Marie Brumwell is charged with obstructing a peace officer (providing a false name), identity fraud and three counts of possession of stolen credit cards.

She was released on a recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on May 24.

One man was released without charges.
