12 arrested in downtown Lethbridge ‘targeted enforcement project’
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Police officers in Lethbridge have arrested one dozen people after conducting what they call a ‘targeted enforcement project’ in downtown Lethbridge.
On May 16, 2019, members of the Downtown Policing Unit and Priority Crimes Unit conducted the project as part of an ongoing enforcement initiative that targets ongoing criminal activity. Four high-end mountain bikes were seized as part of the project, valued at $4,500.
Eight people from Lethbridge were arrested, one from Medicine Hat and another from Fort Macleod. One person was released without charge.
