LETHBRIDGE, AB – A 32-year-old Lethbridge woman charged in connection with a west side shooting on October 21, has pleaded not guilty to two charges in connection with the matter.

Kristylyn Nichole Healy appeared via CCTV from the Lethbridge Correctional Centre Thursday morning, and elected trial in Provincial Court by judge alone, although a date for trial was not immediately set.

Healy is facing charges of possession of stolen property and failure to comply with a court order.

Her co-accused, Jarret Healy, is facing 15 charges in relation to the matter as well.

Lethbridge Police say a 30-year-old man was in his backyard on Columbia Boulevard West just before 8:00 a.m. when a man in a white GMC Yukon approached him in the alley. After the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at him, the man ran away and heard a gunshot.

Police also say shots were fired at a home on Dalhousie Court W. and two bullet casings were recovered. Police also believe that after leaving the west side, the Yukon drove to the north end where shots were also fired at an undetermined location.

The vehicle was found in the Bay parking lot and was later found to have been stolen.

A handgun was found inside.
