Snow clearing underway in Lethbridge County

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – Crews continue to work to clear roadways in the Lethbridge County.
The County said late Thursday afternoon that they have four plow trucks tasked with clearing paved roads and ten graders working on gravel roads, as well as roads within hamlets in the region.
They stated that due to the amount of snow that fell, it could take crews several days to clear all the roads, with priority given to school bus routes and collector roadways.
In a statement, Lethbridge County said they do not clear private driveways, and citizens and business owners are reminded not to push snow across roads into ditches.
