Nearly half of stolen vehicles in Lethbridge were left running and/or had keys inside
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Winter is coming, and with that, a potentially-higher risk of vehicles being stolen.
Lethbridge Police reports that, in 2019, 272 vehicles were stolen.
In 45 per cent of those cases, the vehicles were either left running and unattended or the keys were inside and accessible.
Inspector Jason Walper says that statistic was not surprising for him to see.
