COALDALE, AB. – RCMP were called out to jackknifed semi-trailer unit around 4:30 Monday afternoon. The semi was blocking both lanes of Highway 3, about three kilometres west of Lethbridge.
The semi was westbound on Highway 3 and lost control, resulting in the trailer unit being jackknifed across both lanes of traffic. The driver was not injured.
Westbound traffic on Highway 3 was diverted at the Highway 25 off-ramp for several hours, until the semi-truck could be towed from the scene.
