Council postpones capital projects decision to seek public feedback
LETHBRIDGE, AB– During Lethbridge City Council’s meeting on Tuesday, a final decision on the 2022-31 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) was expected.
Following extensive debate over whether Lethbridge citizens have had enough time to look over the proposed projects in the upcoming capital budget, council decided to postpone the motion for two weeks.
The postponement will allow residents in the city to look through the proposed projects to see which projects they may like or dislike.
Before the final decision could be made at the June 1 city council meeting, councillors want the public’s opinion.
