Card-sized COVID vaccine record available for Albertans as of Sept. 16
LETHBRIDGE, AB – It isn’t a vaccine passport, but it may be the next best thing.
The province has announced that as of September 16, Albertans will be able to print off a copy of their card-sized proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Residents will also be able to show their proof on their phone or on their tablet.
Alberta’s Health Minister Tyler Shandro said, “we continue to make it easier for Albertans to securely access their health information, including immunization records, in the palm of their hand any time and anywhere through MyHealth Records.”
“More Albertans are signing up for this tool every day to access their health information, and if you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to sign up now.”
