City sending out property assessment notices this week

Jan 5, 2022 | 11:52 AM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – It is every property owner’s favorite time of the year – assessment time.

The City of Lethbridge says property assessment notices were mailed out Wednesday to all residential and commercial property owners.

Those who have signed up for eNotices would have received their notice by email.

If you do not receive your assessment notice by January 18, call 311 to get a copy. You can also view and reprint your assessment online at Lethbridge.ca/MyCity.

Any questions about property taxes or assessments can be directed to Assessment staff through 311 or by email to assessment@lethbridge.ca.

Back in May 2021, Lethbridge City Council approved a zero per cent increase to the municipal portion of your property taxes for 2021 and 2022.

Those who prepay their taxes will get a slight discount, which the city says is the equivalent of earning interest at 0.75 per cent.
