What’s happening in Lethbridge this week, July 10, 2022
LETHBRIDGE, AB – There’s plenty of events happening in Lethbridge this week. From Bingo, to art in different forms, there’s something for everyone.
On Tuesday, July 12, the Galt Museum and Archives is hosting Felted Picture. This event invites people to explore the connection of felting to Canada’s history while making your own felted picture by wet felting. This interactive event starts at 1 p.m. and is open to children of all ages. Felted Picture is supported financially by the Friends of the Galt Museum and Archives, meaning the price of the event is just the cost of admission to the museum.
Also happening on Tuesday is the Unofficial and Amazing Viewing Party. Make your way down to Festival Square by 6 p.m. in order to watch Lethbridge be featured in season 8 of Amazing Race Canada. The event is free to attend and is being hosted by Tourism Lethbridge, the City of Lethbridge, and the Downtown Lethbridge BRZ. This even is not affiliated with CTV, Amazing Race or Insight production and is purely meant to get Lethbridge residents out to celebrate the city.
Take in a free concert on Thursday, July 14 as Casa hosts its weekly concert series Upside Downtown. This week’s performer is the Eric Braun Band. The show gets underway at 5 p.m. and wraps up at 7 p.m. Eric Braun entertains crowds with original music and “bluesfied” covers. The show is free to attend and will feature a cash bar, for those that are thirsty.
