Two new ambulances being added to Lethbridge’s EMS system
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge and Alberta Health Services (AHS) is addressing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) response times by adding two new ambulances in Lethbridge.
The new ambulances will begin operating in the city starting in April 2023.
Alberta Minister of Health Jason Copping said in a news release, “Adding these life-saving resources to the community of Lethbridge is another example of how we are collaborating with our partners and communities to make our EMS system more responsive to the needs of Albertans.”
Copping added, “This is part of our health action plan aimed at improving access to emergency services and bringing response times down. We are supporting our rural and urban communities.”
