Sisters Pub and Grill: giving and getting community support

Pattison Media is proud to support the local community with the ‘Amplify Southern Alberta’ promotion, featuring local businesses, individuals and groups that make a difference in our community.

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The original owners of Sisters Pub and Grill first opened the establishment for their mom. Now, they say it’s for everyone – friends, family, and everyone in between.

Sisters Heather Jacklynn, Valerie McCormack, and Dawn Melling (formerly Heather, Valerie, and Dawn Morton), opened Sisters Pub and Grill near downtown Lethbridge in November 2009.

They have come a long way since then, with many long-term employees, great loyal customers, and the next generation of their family becoming involved in the business.

The ‘Sisters’ say they sincerely appreciate the Lethbridge community for supporting them all these years, and in turn, they have always loved supporting other organizations in the community.

The ‘Sisters’ pride themselves on purchasing their products from other Southern Alberta businesses, including meat from Ben’s Quality Meats in Picture Butte, and bread from Homestead Bakery in Fort Macleod. Some of their beers and other beverages are supplied by Spectrum Ale Works and Wine Cavern in Lethbridge.

Sisters Pub and Grill also supports the community by donating to local organizations. For example, the ‘Sisters’ hosted a garage sale and donated all of the money raised to YWCA Harbour House, a local women’s shelter.
