Lethbridge Chamber asks election winners to follow through on campaign promises
LETHBRIDGE, AB – An official with the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce is voicing what she believes will be important to businesses for the next Alberta provincial government to prioritize going forward.
The election on May 29, 2023, saw a projected majority government win for the United Conservative Party (UCP). Leader Danielle Smith is set to remain premier.
Lethbridge Chamber CEO Cyndi Bester congratulated those who won their races and said she and other chamber leaders are looking forward to meeting with them.
She explained that one of the responsibilities that chambers of commerce have is to act as a lobbying party on behalf of member small businesses to the various levels of government.
