Lethbridge post-secondaries team up for pancake breakfast

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Post-secondaries in Lethbridge came together on Friday to serve breakfast.

The University of Lethbridge (U of L) and Lethbridge College hosted a pancake breakfast in Rotary Square on August 25, 2023 to help kick-off the 2023-24 academic school year.

Students, alumni, employees and friends of both institutions were on hand for the delicious fun.

In the last year, both institutions have welcomed new faces to the position of president.

Dr. Brad Donaldson joined Lethbridge College in September 2022, while Dr. Digvir Jayas started with the U of L in July 2023.

In a news release, Dr. Donaldson said, “Our two institutions are linked through history and purpose, and together our people help make Lethbridge the vibrant community it is.”

Dr. Jayas added, “We are committed to working together to continue to advance our region culturally, socially and economically.”

Members of the Lethbridge College Culinary program prepared the pancakes and other breakfast foods for Friday’s event.
