LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are plenty of events to check out in Southern Alberta this week, and Lethbridge News Now has you covered with the details.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Regina Pats– December 15, 2023

The Lethbridge Hurricanes host the Regina Pats on Friday. The Hurricanes are looking to get back in the win column after back to back losses to Swift Current and Medicine Hat. Puck drop is at 7:00.

Beauty and the Beast – December 12-16, 2023

Cardston High School’s production of Beauty and the Beast continues Friday and Saturday. The shows are at 7:00 p.m. every night, with a 2:00 matinee on Saturday. The show is being held at the Cardston Civic Center, and tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling the school.

Nikka Yuko Winter Light Festival – November 30 – February 24

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge is hosting its eighth annual Winter Light Festival. This year, the festival will have a ‘Celebration of the Seasons’ theme. The festival’s opening night is Thursdays, and will be open Thursdays through Sundays in November and December.

Elf: The Musical – December 14 – 31, 2023

Elf: The Musical begins its run at the Yates Memorial Theatre on December 14, 2023, and will run until New Years Eve. The show is based on the 2003 Will Ferrell starring film Elf, and follows Buddy, a human raised by elves at the North Pole who travels to New York in search for his dad. Tickets for Elf: The Musical can be found at the New West Theatre website.

Glow Lethbridge – November 23 – December 31, 2023

Lethbridge’s holiday light celebration is at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre. Glow Lethbridge features lights in the form of landmarks like the London Bridge, Taj Mahal and Eiffel Tower, as well as a scavenger hunt, music and treats. More information can be found here.
