LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents are being asked to share feedback on snow routes.

The City of Lethbridge implemented a new snow route network for the 2023-24 season. The modifications impacted 80 kilometres of roadway around the city.

A new survey aims to collect input from those affected by the changes, including:

  • Residents who lived/worked adjacent to snow
  • Snow route parking lane users
  • Those who used affected roadways for getting around the city

Feedback will be included in public reporting and considered in planning for the next winter season.

“We’ve heard a lot from residents this season about what they liked, didn’t like and general experiences, “says Juliane Ruck, Manager, Transportation Operations.

“This survey focuses on some of the common themes we want to ask about more broadly, or questions we can compare with feedback from the first phase in 2022/23.”

Residents who reside on snow routes and have downloaded the Lethbridge Loop app or signed up for notifications, will receive an automated message with a survey link. The survey is also available online and can be accessed by calling 311.

Those who complete a survey will have the chance to enter a draw for a custom prize package a leaf/snow blower and a ride-along Transportation experience. The winner will be notified by the end of April.

Additionally, citizens can attend the upcoming Community Conversation, hosted by the City of Lethbridge, on April 25, 2024.
