Food truck access expanded in Lethbridge parks

Apr 12, 2024 | 11:20 AM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A new pilot project is allowing food trucks to operate in more city parks.

The City of Lethbridge says food trucks and mobile vending machines can now operate, without needing specific permission, in three parks:

  • Indian Battle Park
  • Lethbridge Sports Park
  • Park ‘n’ Bark Dog Park

Vendors must have a valid Mobile Food Vending Permit. Operators can reach out to 311 and speak with the Traffic Technologist or Parking Coordinator for more information.

The City adds the increased access to the three parks may be subject to change, as this is a pilot project. More information is also available at the City of Lethbridge website.
