Lead by coach Kira Nelson, a team of eight competed in the 16-20 routine event and earned a silver medal finish in both routine and championship.

“This category is a challenge for this team as some of the team members are actually 13 and 14 years old,” read a release from the club.

Strathcona Synatics, from Edmonton, earned first place.

In the 13 to 15 solo category, Jonah Pinksen was first in routine and third in championship. Tya Schow finished in 11th place in routine and 10th in championship.
