Firestone wins $10K as honorable mention in “Best Caesar in Town” contest

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A Lethbridge restaurant put up a spicy fight but didn’t come out the winner.

However, it wasn’t a total loss for Firestone Restaurant and Bar in the Best Caesar in Town contest, presented by Mott’s Clamato Caesar.

The Lethbridge eatery had cracked the top 10 in the competition earlier this year for its Firestone Nashville Caesar.

Although Sorso Lounge in Airdrie was named the winner of the $25,000 prize, Mott’s Clamato surprised Firestone with a cash prize of $10,000 as an honorable mention in the contest.

As for the Sorso Lounge, their competition-winning ‘Suffering Caesar’ features pineapple rum, black fermented garlic, mango nectar, bone marrow ice cubes and more! The venue plans to reinvest the $25,000 prize back into the community that has supported them through the struggles of the COVID-19 pandemic.
