Home grown, a local focus – Firestone restaurant maintains exceptional service

“Life isn’t easy!” Truer words were never spoken, especially right now. Communities and businesses everywhere are struggling to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic and extended restrictions.

No matter how difficult the struggle, there are always opportunities to celebrate and there’s a business in Lethbridge that is always ready to help you celebrate and create good memories. If you can’t celebrate outside your home right now, they’ll help you create a celebration and special memories in your home – with some of the best food in the city.

Jeff Gliege, the owner of Firestone Restaurant and Bar, sat down with a few friends to talk about his business and the elements that make Firestone unique.

Given the success of Firestone, many people are surprised to learn that it is not a franchise. Although Jeff has been asked to consider franchising, he would rather keep it local, independent and true to his vision.

You don’t have to attend the restaurant to enjoy the menu – you can still enjoy the quality Firestone meals, since the restaurant has curb-side pick-up, which many patrons have been taking advantage of. You can choose from the restaurant’s menu for Carryout and Curbside pick up for a single meal or indulge in a family meal deal, where chefs take some of the more popular entrees and package them.

If it’s the Firestone desserts you long for (and who doesn’t), they have special in-house made cakes in a variety of sizes, available for take-out.

The restaurant also has an enclosed private dining room which can accommodate 15 to 20 people, when family or work cohorts are able to get together.
