Crews tackle structure fire in downtown Lethbridge Tuesday morning

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Emergency responders were kept busy early Tuesday morning.

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a report of a structure fire at 316 2 Avenue South at approximately 5:02 a.m. on January 31, 2023.

Crews from four stations attended the scene, and received mutual aid from Coaldale Fire Rescue.

No injuries were reported. The fire resulted in the closure of the block of 2 Avenue and 4 Street South.

Fire Prevention is currently at the scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
