LETHBRIDGE, AB – A new web feature has been unveiled by the City of Lethbridge.

The City Project Webmap provides residents with up-to-date information on road and facility closures, City-led projects and initiatives.

The project came to fruition thanks to a collaboration between Lethbridge 311 and the City Communications and Engagement department. Over the past few months, 311 team members have engaged with various City of Lethbridge departments to highlight the capabilities of the webmap and showcase its potential to deliver information to residents.

Mike Wilk, 311 Business Integration Manager said, “The 311 team has been working hard on this project and we are thrilled to see it come to fruition.”

Wilk added, “Our goal is to provide residents with a tool to independently navigate and discover the various projects in our community and we believe that the webmap does just that.”

The 311 team will continue to work alongside internal stakeholders to make sure the map is as accurate and user-friendly as possible. Residents who want to provide feedback can do so by contacting 311.

Tara Grindle, Communications and Engagement Manager said, “I think everyone can relate to being curious about what the City trucks and equipment are doing when you see them in your neighborhood.”

She added, “The webmap tool allows you to see what the work is and when it’s estimated to be completed too.”

The webmap can be accessed at the City of Lethbridge website.
