RCMP FUNDING FOR COALDALE

It was announced this week that the Town of Coaldale would be getting an annual grant to cover the costs of RCMP services.

PALLISER STRIKE AVERTED

A strike was avoided at the Palliser School Division after teachers voted in favour of a mediator’s recommended terms of settlement.

A NEW ARENA?

At its April 9 meeting, Lethbridge City Council voted to investigate potential future plans as they relate to the ENMAX Centre.

STREET SWEEPING BEGINS

The City of Lethbridge street sweeping campaign started up this week.

Over the course of the spring, crews will be clearing local roads of sand, dust, dirt and other debris.

SLOW YOUR ROLL

Residents will start to notice more #SlowYourRoll signs in the community. The initiative aims to support save driving, encourage drivers to slow down and be aware of their surroundings.

CINDERELLA PROJECT

The MyCityCare Cinderella Project provides dresses and suits to graduates who may not be able to afford them. This year marks the eighth iteration of the initiative.

LIBRARY EXPANSION

The Crossings Branch of the Lethbridge Public Library celebrated a grand-reopening this week following renovations.
