Man found dead in Spring Hill Canal in Brooks

BROOKS, AB – Brooks RCMP are investigating after finding the body of a man in the water.

Around 7:00 am on Tuesday, July 9th, the man was found in the Spring Hill Canal while members of the fire department were searching the area.

The man has not yet been identified, but RCMP are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary.

“There is no indication that this is a suspicious occurrence,” reads a press release from Brooks RCMP.
