LPS is seeking witnesses in motor vehicle collision from Monday

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance in the ongoing investigation into an injury motor vehicle collision on September 20, 2021.

A 27-year-old man from Lethbridge was airlifted to a Calgary hospital. He suffered serious and life-threatening injuries.

The investigation found that the motorcycle was traveling southbound on 43 Street and collided with a northbound vehicle, which was turning west onto Crowsnest Trail.

The 78-year-old female driver of the northbound SUV, also from Lethbridge, was not injured.

Police say neither alcohol nor drugs appear to have been a factor in the collision. The Traffic Response Unit investigators are looking for witnesses to the actual collision.
