LETHBRIDGE – A preliminary hearing has been set for 29-year old Randall William Enright as he faces a charge of second degree murder.
Around 12:30 in the afternoon on September 19, 2015, police did a welfare check at a home along the 500 block of 19 Street North, where they found the body of 29-year-old Matthew James Flitton.
An investigation identified a 29-year-old man, who was an associate of the victim, as a suspect and he was arrested that night with help from the Tactical Team. It was also noted by police that Enright had been staying with Flitton a short time prior to the incident.
The prelim will determine if there’s enough evidence to take the matter to trial.
