LETHBRIDGE – It’s work that was scheduled for fall to minimize disruption to people’s enjoyment of a popular Lethbridge destination.

A wooden retaining wall in Henderson Lake is being replaced with a terraced stone wall. The city says it will include seating areas, safety lightning, and extended water access.

Work is starting Friday, Oct. 27, and will mean the temporary closure of sections of the pathway. The affected area is near the concession plaza.

Weather permitting, the construction work should be complete by the end of November.
