UPDATE 8:40 a.m.: The travel advisory for Highway 3 between Pincher Creek and Fort Macleod has been lifted.

UPDATE 7:10 a.m.: Kainai Board of Education schools are CLOSED Thursday. Red Crow College in Standoff is also CLOSED.

Province asks Albertans to reconsider travel as winter storm approaches

ALBERTA – With Environment Canada issuing Winter Storm Warnings for most of southern Alberta, the provincial government is advising drivers to prepare for winter conditions and to avoid travel if possible.
